Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for the preparation and blasting of customer parts according to written requirements/specifications.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for preparing and transporting customer parts for blasting.
Operates sandblast and related equipment.
Carefully places completed parts in proper containers for shipping or the next step in the process.
Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
Bring any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of the supervisor.
Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or permanent resident cardholders.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Necessary: Minimum one year in heat treating.
Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stoop.
Work Environment: Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, fumes, etc.
Must be able to work overtime or any shift, including weekends as needed.
Must be able to wear protective respiratory gear and other safety equipment as required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
Physical & Mental Demands:
The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to, the following.
Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at a desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment.
Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.
May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
Ability to hear in person and via phone.
