Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify authorized access when required, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with site expectations.
• Support order at the location by providing directions, assisting with crowd and/or visitor flow, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
