Baja Designs manufacture industry-leading solutions that inspire off road and automotive enthusiasts alike to explore the unknown. We stay on the cutting edge through best-in-class performance, craftsmanship, consumer engagement and providing meaningful solutions.
For 30+ years Baja Designs has engineered revolutionary ways to stay at the forefront of automotive lighting. The first product developed was a Dual Sport kit that made a pure off road motorcycle minimally street legal. This intimate knowledge of motorcycle electrical capabilities led to a natural evolution to engineer the first HID motorcycle race light. Founder and engineer Alan Roach was an avid Baja 1000 motorcycle racer who was able to fine tune a motorcycle’s limited light optics to maximize rider comfort, speed and safety. As a result, BD lights have won every professional and amateur motorcycle and ATV Baja 1000 class for over 15 years.
Moving forward to today, Baja Designs is on the forefront of lighting technology. Being mainly an aftermarket product we are able to adapt to the newest technologies in a matter of weeks instead of years. This has attracted the attention of everyone from the US Special Forces, foreign countries and some of the fastest racecar drivers in the world. We design the highest performing lights that will stand the test of time and through the harshest environments, so your light is there when you need it.
