ER Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Laconia, New Hampshire 03246 (NH ER nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Duration: 18 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,990 - $2,050
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)

ER RN Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room (ER) nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Experience caring for patients from newborn to geriatric; pediatric nursing experience preferred or willingness to train
• Updated resume highlighting ER and travel nursing experience
• Two recent Charge/Manager RN references in emergency department settings
• Completed skills checklist for ER/ED specialty
• NURSYS license verification report
• EMR experience with Cerner preferred

ER Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Assess, triage, and manage care for diverse patient populations (excluding OB)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the EMR system
• Engage in ongoing professional development and emergency nursing training
