This position qualifies for a 'Hire Above Minimum' (HAM) salary. The starting salary will be $11,695.
This position is pending budget approval. This position is located at 715 P Street, 15th Floor, CNRA Building, Sacramento CA 95814.Under general direction of the General Counsel and Assistant Chief Counsel, the Attorney III in the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety's, Legal division serves as a subject matter expert in performing the complex legal assignments and cases for the agency. The Attorney III will be expected to advise agency staff on legal matters as needed.
Occasional travel may be required. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.

Working Conditions
This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
