Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) engineer, you will be responsible, along with the rest of the team, for both the support, monitoring and evolution of the entire infrastructure used at Reliable Robotics. You will be a stakeholder for various projects to enhance our capabilities by building/deploying new tools, while ensuring the whole team is capable of supporting the tooling itself. You will explore new solutions that would improve the infrastructure, while keeping our users, data and systems safe using new technologies.
\n Responsibilities- Infrastructure evolution and upkeep (code review, new infrastructure, upgrades, migration of services, etc)
- Advise other teams to help achieve goals in a secure manner, providing tooling and/or infrastructure to safely satisfy their needs
- Collaborate and assist other members of the IT team with tools and/or automation and address issues as needed
- Oncall rotation to support infrastructure and tooling
- 3+ years experience using terraform and puppet to support deployment in an AWS environment
- Professional experience with scripting languages such as python, bash or similar
- 3+ years experience managing and working with Grafana, Prometheus or other observability platform
- Experience with device management with MDM
- 3+ years experience with git-ops in a github environment (GHA, GHES, etc)
- 3+ years experience working with security teams to design and implement infrastructure and tooling
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and Google Cloud offerings
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Assured workloads and controls, as well as other Google services
- Experience with TLS and mTLS for various protocols ( SMTPS and others)
- Packaging software experience
- Familiarity with network security protocols and their deployments (802.1x with certs)
- Familiarity with EFI network boot protocols
- Ability to work with engineering to identify the source of problems quickly
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAUTH, SAML, SSH Certificates
- Experience with Zero Trust Network concepts a plus
This role is located at our facility in Mountain View, California.
Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
The estimated salary range for this position is $145,000 to $190,000. At Reliable Robotics, we strive to provide competitive and rewarding compensation based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.
In addition to base compensation, Reliable Robotics offers stock options, employee medical, 401k contribution, great co-workers and a casual work environment.
