The job

We are looking for a forward-thinking AI Technologist to join our AI Investigation and Incubation team. This role involves researching prototyping and evaluating emerging AI technologies to drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and a passion for exploring new frontiers in AI.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and methodologies.
• Prototype AI solutions and assess their feasibility for industrial applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to explore new AI applications.
• Stay current with AI research and industry trends to inform long-term AI roadmaps.
• Document technical findings and present recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support the integration of AI technologies into pilot projects and proof-of-concepts.
• Investigate and recommend AI implementation and architectural approaches for industrial AI solutions

Essential requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 8 years of experience in AI research development or technology scouting with 3 years in hands-on AI/ML model development/deployment.
• Expertise in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch HuggingFace)
• Deep understanding of AI/ML deployment architectures and strategies.
• Up-to-date understanding of modern AI technologies including foundation models agents model context protocol etc
• Experience leading technical investigations or cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with AI model development evaluation and deployment.
• Ability to envision the future of AI and its impact on industrial sectors.
