Employee Engagement Survey and Analytics Lead

The People Analytics and Insight Lead plays a critical role in advancing our people-first culture by generating insights from our employee listening initiatives to improve employee experience, engagement, performance, and retention metrics across our restaurant concepts, Corporate Support Center, and Bakeries. Through a comprehensive listening and engagement approach, this person will help design and administer our listening initiatives, with a heavy focus on analytics and insights development. Responsibilities
Here's more of what you'll get to do: Survey Strategy, Administration and Governance (25%)- Working with HR and Operations, design, configure, and administer our annual engagement and pulse surveys for up to 50,000 employees across our various restaurant concepts, Corporate Support Center, and Bakeries.
- Advance our listening insights by developing additional Employee Experience/Lifecycle surveying and listening initiatives including onboarding, promotion, anniversary, and exit.
- Implement, manage, and maximize our new partnership with Medallia and their EX Feedback platform to advance insights into employee and guest experience. Provide support for our existing Medallia CX data and insights initiatives.
- Partner with Medallia, HRIS and IT to implement and maintain employee data, system integrations, and platform user roles.
- Partner with HR and Ops Communications, as well as our Performance Development teams on survey and engagement action planning, communications, and training.
- Design and develop tailored question sets that will generate the data and insights needed to identify opportunities for employee experience and engagement improvements.
- Identify, configure and operationalize standard reports and metrics that can be measured and correlated with other key performance indicators including HR, Operations and Guest Services priorities.
- Derive, interpret and communicate analyses and insights of survey results and other listening tools to various business units and audiences.
- Analyze textual data including large volumes of open-ended comments to identify themes, trends, opportunities for improvement and justifications for potential improvement initiatives.
- Analyze participation rates and trends by demographics and provide insights designed to improve quality participation.
- Research, design touchpoints and provide insights on “Moments That Matter” in the employee-life cycle.
- Apply statistical methods to correlate employee engagement with other business productivity and customer experience metrics
- Develop detailed and compelling data, storylines and presentations to use in discussions with executives, department leaders and restaurant managers, in order to advance positive operational and cultural change in employee engagement and experiences.
- Work with HR and Operations business partners to identify effective and timely action plans, development opportunities, and other engagement solutions for targeted teams and company-wide initiatives.
- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns to communicate actions and impact across business units and audiences.
Qualifications
What we require:- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Statistics/Data, Industrial and Organizational Psychology or other Behavioral Sciences or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting employee engagement surveys, employee lifecycle surveys, pulse surveys, and/or other listening initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize data and information into business-relevant storylines and insights.
- Strong grasp of employee engagement and employee experience survey design, methodologies, strategies, models, benchmarks, and quantitative and qualitative research.
- Strong experience working within EX/CX platforms such as Medallia, Gallup, Perceptyx, or Glint.
- Very strong skills using MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) as well as other data warehouse tools such as BI Business Intelligence.
- Proven project and task management skills/experience.
- Strong communications, consulting, and presentation skills/experience with team managers through company executives.
- Experience working well independently and collaboratively on cross-departmental teams.
- Demonstrated exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive people data and business issues.
- Restaurant, retail and/or hospitality experience preferred.
- Guest Experience analytics and insights experience a plus.
