Company Overview:

Empirical Systems Aerospace Inc. is seeking Interns with a background in Manufacturing Engineering to join our team for our Fall/Winter Internship program. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to rapid system development on-demand niche engineering hands-on development/testing and UAS aerospace system manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer Intern:

• Assist in all engineering efforts: Requirements Design Built Test Delivery

• Help to create solutions to complex technical problems

• Build and set up equipment

• Assist in the creation of prototypes

• Assist in creating build documentation

• Utilize machining tools to modify and create parts

• Assist with Work Packets

• Ideal intern hours 20hrs or more per week

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Current or recent engineering student

• Demonstrated clear communication & writing skills

• Demonstrated application of engineering knowledge and skills

• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and make it happen

• Consistently abide by all safety requirements
