Fitter
- Fabricating miscellaneous steel fabrications like trash gates, roof access platforms, handrail etc.
- Layout of Structural fabrications
- Operating an Overhead Crane
- Operating a Torch
- Stick Welding
- Wire Welding
- Reading fabrication drawings
- Must go through at least 3 months of McWhirter Steel’s Fitter’s apprenticeship and or have at least 4 years of structural steel fitting experience
- Must have Welding Experience
- Must have in-depth knowledge of reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
- Must have in-depth knowledge of reading and interpreting erection drawings
- Must have experience fabricating miscellaneous steel such as handrail, roof access platforms etc.
- Should be AWS Certified
