Accounts Payable /Payroll Clerk 

Job Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

Salary Range: $25 to $27 per hour

Position Overview 

Process and Maintain Vendor and Accounts Payable transactions and corresponding General Ledger accounts. 

Work Environment and Expectations 

• This is a full-time, hourly, office position. Remote work is not available.

• Schedule is Monday – Friday 

• Starting pay is $25 to $27 per hour

Qualifications 

• Two years of Accounts Payable experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required 

• Ability to manage data quickly and accurately 

• Familiarity with general accounting systems and procedures and computer programs

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
• Advance Excel skills

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assist with coding and entering vendor invoices 

• Assist with processing weekly payment runs 

• Assist with coding, entering and paying manual/ out of cycle checks 

• Reconcile Credit Card Statements as needed 

• Research and answer vendor questions

• Contact vendors and reconcile outstanding payments 

• Assist with audits as needed 

• Answer and Process Incoming Vendor and Customer Service Calls

• Create Spreadsheets and Maneuver Data using Microsoft Excel 

• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, providing insights into labor costs, overtime, and other payroll-related metrics.
• Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring accurate deductions and enrollments.

• Design and implement filing and reporting systems as related to position
