• Extensive Experience in SoC front-end ASIC RTL digital logic design using Verilog or System Verilog.
• Proficiency in front end tools and methodologies
• Experience writing specifications and converting them to design
• Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces
• Experience or knowledge of system architecture, CPU & IP Integration, and design for debug is highly desirable
• Experience in front-end implementation tasks such as synthesis, timing, area/power analysis, linting, and logic equivalence checks.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all internal groups
• Familiarity with common on-chip bus protocols such as AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB) a plus
• Familiarity with lower power design techniques and security concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with software and operating concepts a plus
Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl or Python or Tcl a plus

Description Description As an ASIC Design Engineer, your responsibilities span various aspects of SOC design: - Write microarchitecture and/or design specifications. - Design, implement, and debug complex logic designs. - Integrate sophisticated IPs into the SOC. - Support all front end integration activities like Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO. - Work with other specialists that are members of the SOC Design, SOC Design. - Verification, Emulation, STA, and Physical Design teams. - Collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure a high quality. • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $55.82 and $84.09/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
