Senior Software Engineer (AI & Logistics)

About the Role

Our client is an AI startup backed by $17 million in funding that is focused on rebuilding the $1 trillion freight marketplace . They are fixing the slow, manual process of matching trucks with jobs by building a vertical AI agent that automates communication (phone calls, texts, and emails) for freight brokers and forwarders.

As an early Senior Software Engineer , you'll have a high-impact role driving the product's evolution. You'll be bringing AI to the transportation industry , owning product decisions, and shaping the core engineering culture. This is a fit for engineers who are excited about logistics, passionate about AI, and driven by great design and ownership.

What You'll Do

• Bring AI to the transportation industry by shipping new features, talking to users, and actively shaping company culture.
• Work with other engineers to build and improve the existing enterprise SaaS product.
• Drive roadmap and MVP development , with a strong emphasis on full-stack work, data analysis, and direct customer interaction.
• Build and improve the core AI platform that automates human labor for logistics workers.

• 4-10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering (excluding time spent in roles like QA, data analysis, or sales engineering).
• Must be comfortable with the pace and rigor of a small, early-stage, fast-moving business.
• Passionate about AI, logistics, and owning product decisions.

• Salary: $200K - $250K
• Equity: 0.03% – 0.3%
• Visa Sponsorship: Available for O1, TN, H1B transfers , and OPT. They sponsor Green Cards for candidates on dual-intent visas upon hire if desired.
