Deputy Regional Program Director - Remote

What You'll Do: Provide Programmatic Leadership: Serve as the authority for the medical services contract at assigned medical units, including Office of Field Operations (OFO) ports of entry and U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) stations.
Oversee Personnel: Track the progress of assigned personnel, ensuring proper vetting and orientation.
Manage Staffing and Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling process to maintain adequate coverage and manage day-to-day operations within medical units.
Manage Logistics and Procurement: Develop and manage the logistics/procurement strategy for assigned medical units.
Ensure Quality and Safety: Maintain the risk management program, medical event reporting, quality assurance/performance improvement, and medical surveillance plans.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Conduct analyses to identify opportunities for performance improvement and develop best practices.
Meet Reporting Requirements: Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Participate in Recruitment: Contribute to the recruitment and selection of contract employees.
Coordinate Training: Organize medical in-service training for physicians and clinical staff.
Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.
Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of relevant DHS and CBP policies, procedures, directives, and memoranda.
What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
Two years of management experience in healthcare services.
Strong analytical, planning, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in logistical planning and operational support.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage diverse teams in high-pressure environments.
Effective leadership, negotiation, and communication skills (oral and written).
Relevant management or Human Resources certifications (PMP, CPC, CSP, etc.) are preferred.
Awareness of electronic medical documentation.
U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Card.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (current clearance preferred).
Fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds (infrequently), and reaching.
