Accounts Payable Clerk
Robert is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment schedules, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payments while adhering to company policies. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will support the efficient management of accounts payable operations. Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for payment.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile statements and resolve invoice discrepancies or issues.
- Coordinate payment schedules and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Prepare accounts payable reports and assist in month-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- High school diploma required; additional qualifications in accounting or finance preferred.
