Hammer & Nails is the newest and most unique concept in the grooming industry with a core focus on hair, hand, and foot care for men. We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team in Southbay, responsible for achieving sales revenue through membership sales, gift card sales, products, and services.
Duties include:
- Sales: Memberships, Gift Cards and Products.
- Upselling multiple services.
- Working with our Point of Sale system (POS) Scheduling client services, ability to increase booking by recommending other services at the time of booking.
- Offering a friendly welcome to all clients and facilitating a smooth transition between their arrival, service, and check out.
- Accomplishing sales goals by leading our clients to the service options that best meet their needs.
- Providing assistance to the Owners, Shop Manager, and Staff.
- Operations support includes duties such as folding towels, assisting our clients with their drink request, laundry, cleaning, etc.
Essential Functions:
- Promote and sell memberships, retail products, and gift cards.
- Interfacing with POS for scheduling appointments.
- Manage daily appointments as necessary.
- Provide Exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Able to address Client conflict resolution.
- Communicate to clients shop policies, services, and pricing.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with shop personnel.
- Manage beverage and associated supplies inventory.
- Provide shop tours as necessary or requested.
- Prepare guest records for treatments.
- Ensure shop opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness around the shop, (laundry, towel folding, general cleaning, etc.,)
Qualifications:
- Strong Sales background. Membership sales experience is a plus.
- Friendly and Customer Service savvy.
- Familiarity with the Point of Sale System (Zenoti is a plus).
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
