Overnight Houseperson Cleaner- Hilton Anaheim

The Hilton Anaheim is looking for an Overnight Houseperson Cleaner , to join the team! Our property has 1,574 rooms, is newly renovated and located in the heart of California's famous Orange County, adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center and steps from the Disneyland Resort. The preferred candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 1 year of hotel housekeeping experience.
• The ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 400-500lbs.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule that includes Overnights, weekends and holidays.
• The ability to read basic English signs, prose, and numbers, and communicate courteously and effectively with English-speaking guests and team members.
• Previous Experience in floor care; specifically shampooing carpets and buffing/waxing floors is a PLUS!

Shift Pattern: Full-Time

Shift: Overnight - 11:30pm - 8:00am

Hourly Rate: Starting at $23.55 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
• Greet guests in a friendly manner
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
• Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
• Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
