Dr. Kanwaljit Gill is looking for a full time front/back office Medical Assistant to join our practice.
Clinical Duties:
- Answering phones
- Greet patients when they arrive
- Provide them with the necessary forms to fill out before their appointments
- Verify patients' insurance information
- Scheduling appointments.
- Take vital signs, weight, screening, and testing under the direction of a physician or Nurse Practitioner (EKG, Holter’s)
- Process clinical documentation using electronic medical record system while maintaining security compliance standards.
Education: High school diploma or GED, MA Certification
Experience:
Prior experience in medical assisting is preferred. However, each application will be evaluated on its own merit.
Performance Requirements:
- Creates a professional, friendly, and welcoming environment for patients
- Takes personal responsibility for accurate and timely execution of routine job duties
- Willingly accepts additional duties and/or projects as needed
