Project Control Officer
Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Chief, Office of Program Project Management Support Unit, Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the incumbent is the District Project Control Officer and is fully responsible for the District's Expenditure Authorization Program. Incumbent performs a variety of duties and is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and originality while performing assigned tasks. These duties include ensuring that all Expenditure Authorizations/Project ID's for all programs are prepared and approved in a correct and timely manner. May act as lead over new staff or on special projects. PARF# 02-6-078 / JC-486666 Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
