We are seeking a daytime cook to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production and catering order fulfillment for our small cafe and marketplace in Burbank, CA.

The role is a daytime/afternoon position, from 10:30 am - 6:30 pm, Wednesday-Friday, and variable hours on weekends depending on the catering requirements. Please note that weekend availability is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities will include making sandwiches to order, preparing daily salads, producing prepared items for our cold case, and assisting with bakery prep -- baking experience is not required, but is a plus. You will also be asked to help with fulfilling catering orders and large group takeout orders, as time allows.

We work with high quality, seasonal ingredients, and we are looking for an employee who is respectful of the integrity of the products we source. It is important to us to hire a person who will take pride in producing the daily menu with care-- we have a simple menu, but we are looking for someone who is inspired by the goal of making simply delicious things with great ingredients.
