Role Overview: As a Bookkeeper at GG Homes, you will manage accounting functions for our commercial and multi-family building projects. Your primary responsibilities include handling accounts payable, managing invoicing, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys complex financial tasks, and excels at independent work.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $70,000 + Bonuses

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Assist in preparing for tax filings and collaborate with external accountants.
  • Track and report on financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage vendor and customer communications regarding invoices and payments.
  • Process expense reports and handle billing inquiries.
  • Assist with other bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is essential.
  • Recent graduates in accounting are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the real estate or construction sector.
  • Familiarity with construction accounting software.
