This role demands a proven logistics sales strategist who has:
- Conquered the LTL/transportation space for 10+ years
- Currently commanding a significant sales operation

- Mastered modern sales technology (ZOHO, ZoomInfo, analytics tools, TMS)
- Insights into how emerging tech (AI, automation, IoT) is reshaping customer operations
This position is for sales leaders who aren't just looking for the next job, but their next legacy-defining challenge. The candidates will be expected to reside in the market represented. This is not a remote position.
This role is critical in building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and crafting tailored growth strategies. This position is pivotal in driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and significantly contributing to our mission and success in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Initiatives: Lead field sales initiatives to surpass sales targets and goals across all divisions (LTL, TL, Expedited, Warehousing, Local Cartage, etc.) through strategic planning, resource allocation, and goal setting.
- Lead Weekly in Office Tuesday Morning Sales Meetings: Organize and conduct weekly sales meetings to discuss team progress, strategize on overcoming challenges, and enhance collaboration and transparency.
- Monitor and Approve Weekly Expense Accounts.
- Ability to motivate Sales Team
- Track Team Initiatives: Monitor individual sales team executive initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader sales goals and contributing to team success.
- Support Prospecting Efforts: Develop & assist in prospecting efforts to identify and engage potential clients, leveraging your expertise to enhance team effectiveness.
- Develop Sales Materials: Work closely with the marketing team to create competitive sales materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition to the target audience.
- Monitor Performance Metrics: Evaluate sales performance metrics to provide targeted feedback, recognize achievements, and identify improvement areas.
- Work with company CRM and Lead Generation Platforms: Drive adoption on the platforms such as Zoho CRM and ZoomInfo.
- Plan, facilitate and attend company sponsored events, joining sales representation on these events to meet the guests/clients and ensure ROI.
- Manage Scheduling: Oversee team scheduling, including day-offs and PTOs, to ensure optimal staffing levels while maintaining work-life balance.
