Bartender
Coucou is hiring servers and bartenders for our Venice location.
Coucou is a French-inspired restaurant with three locations in Los Angeles: Venice, West Hollywood and Manhattan Beach (soon). Our menu blends timeless bistro classics with California produce, served alongside ice-cold martinis, French aperitifs, and low-intervention wines. Designed around conviviality and elegance, Coucou celebrates the spirit of aperitif culture in warm, stylish spaces.
Our model
Coucou operates as a no-tipping establishment. Our team is paid a consistent, elevated hourly rate so that:
- compensation is stable and transparent
- service is not driven by tips
- the focus stays on the guest experience and the team
- Bartenders: $30/hour + additional earnings
What the role looks like
- Fast-paced, high-volume service
- Full ownership of your section or bar
- Strong menu knowledge
- Jumping in where needed
- Experience in high-volume restaurants
- A natural sense of hospitality, warm, intuitive, and present
- Someone who can read a table and move with urgency
- Team players
