Job Summary
As the Executive Chef , you will oversee all culinary functions for a large-scale dining account, operating out of a state-of-the-art, high-capacity kitchen. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in high-volume operations, catering logistics, and fine-dining caliber execution. You will be accountable for driving culinary excellence, cost management, and team development while ensuring flawless delivery across multiple outlets and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides strategic leadership for all culinary operations, including menu development, production logistics, inventory, and procurement.
- Oversees cost controls, labor management, and financial performance for a multi-million-dollar account.
- Develops innovative, trend-forward menus that balance creativity, efficiency, and client expectations.
- Leads large, diverse culinary teams, recruiting, mentoring, and fostering professional growth.
- Partners with senior leadership on business strategy, client engagement, and new program rollouts.
- Ensures the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- 7–10+ years of progressive culinary leadership with a proven record in high-volume, large-kitchen environments.
- Extensive background in catering logistics and large-scale event execution.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in cost controls and P&L management.
- Inspiring leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels and drive innovation in a competitive market.
