Pre-Construction Lead

As ourPre-Construction Lead, you will: Perform as the lead Information, Communications, Automation Transportation (ICAT) Design Engineer for assigned P3, Alliance, Design Assist and large construction pursuits. Manage ICAT bid schedule for all deliverables and key dates. Delegate and support the team(s) in performing pursuits related tasks, ensuring that all deliverables for all pursuits are collected and submitted on schedule. Leverage internal teams and vendor partnerships to create responsibility matrix for pursuit / project deliverables. Define, identify and track potential risks within each pursuit; monitor and manage identified risks through regular reporting. Participate in Client Presentations as required throughout pursuit process. Identify partnerships and efficiencies within the pursuit process to support Plan Group as the vendor of choice. Lead handover meetings once a pursuit has been awarded to the design development and operations teams. Provide technical insights, new ideas and best practices to the team in the pursuit process while keeping cost and feasibility top of mind for construction. Our ideal candidate has: Ten (5-7) years IT Construction Design experience. Five (5) years technical project management experience. Demonstrated understanding and experience of IT and Building System technologies in the built environment including the challenges of construction and systems integration. Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Systems Engineering post-secondary education or related work experience. Strong understanding of data networking principles. Strong understanding of construction schedules and logistics requirements. Experience managing large scale commercial and institutional projects. Proven ability to think critically while working with incomplete information to develop innovative solutions.
