Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for an apartment community. This contract role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can manage daily maintenance operations, oversee staff, and ensure the property is safe, well‑maintained, and operating efficiently.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising maintenance activities, responding to service requests, and ensuring all preventive and corrective maintenance is completed to company and property standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations
• Supervise and mentor maintenance team members
• Ensure timely completion of work orders and service requests
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance programs
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and property standards
• Participate in an on‑call rotation every other week for emergency maintenance
• Assist with inspections, turns, and capital projects as needed

Qualifications

• Previous Maintenance Manager or Lead Maintenance experience required
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to supervise staff and manage priorities efficiently
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• EPA certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
