Veterinary Technician

VCA Laguna Niguel Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team full-time ! Our primary care practice is located in the heart of the beautiful city of Laguna Niguel. As a four-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.

Location: 28892 Crown Valley Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

Schedule: Full-Time, 4 or 5 x8, including Saturdays, no Sundays

Salary: $ 24 - $ 28 / hr

Duties may include:

• Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring

• Surgery prep and Assisting

• Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs

• Patient Recovery

• Animal Restraint

• Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections

• Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids

• Venipuncture and IV Catheterization

• Technician Appointments

• Filling Prescriptions

• Diagnostic Radiographs

• Monitoring Hospitalized Patients

• Client Communication
