Founding Mid-Market Account Executive

Compensation: $125,000 base salary with 2× OTE ($250,000 total on-target earnings)

Our partner is a fast-growing Series A SaaS company building modern financial and commission-operations software for the insurance industry. Their platform replaces spreadsheets and manual workflows with automation that helps brokerages and carriers manage complex commission structures with accuracy and transparency. The company has raised significant venture funding, is generating millions in annual recurring revenue , and has achieved strong growth in under two years—demonstrating clear product-market fit in a large, traditionally underserved market.
The Opportunity
Our partner is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to support continued go-to-market expansion. This role is ideal for an experienced, quota-carrying seller who enjoys owning the full sales cycle and building trusted relationships in a relationship-driven industry. You’ll focus on mid-market insurance organizations, closing five- and six-figure contracts , while working closely with a lean leadership team to help refine and scale the sales motion.
This is a high-ownership role offering autonomy, direct exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to grow with a proven Series A company.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for mid-market customers, from prospecting through close
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities within a defined target account list
- Develop relationships with decision-makers through calls, meetings, and industry events
- Run product demos and guide prospects through a consultative buying process
- Partner with marketing and customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term success
- Share customer feedback to inform product and go-to-market strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, primarily focused on mid-market customers
- Demonstrated success closing five- and six-figure deals in a full-cycle sales role
- Strong relationship-building skills and comfort engaging customers in person when needed
- Insurance or financial services experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment
