General Manager of Commissary Operations

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is on the lookout for a passionate and driven General Manager of Commissary Operations to join our team in Vernon. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates eager to make a significant impact in the restaurant industry.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our commissary facility, ensuring that we provide top-notch services and food products to our clients. We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for personal and professional growth within the hospitality sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the commissary, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency
- Supervise and train staff to ensure adherence to safety and hygiene practices
- Oversee inventory management and procurement processes
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize workflow
- Collaborate with culinary teams to meet client needs and enhance service delivery
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary
