### Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptional US-based Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for identifying and fulfilling staffing needs with high-quality professional consultants who align with our clients' unique requirements. You will manage the end-to-end recruiting and staffing process, leveraging technology and your recruiting expertise to deliver timely and effective staffing solutions. You must be self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently while maintaining proactive communication with the CEO and candidates.
### About Nimble Consulting
Nimble Consulting delivers top-tier professional services to large organizations, specializing in management consulting areas such as organizational change management, communications, virtual and classroom training, strategic planning, process improvement, and program management. We operate primarily on Pacific Time, serving clients mostly located in the Bay Area and West Coast. Our team values flexibility, collaboration, integrity, and a strong work ethic, fostering an achievement-oriented, supportive, and non-competitive culture.
Nimble Consulting is on the lookout for an exceptional part-time Recruiter (10-20 hours per week) to join our dynamic team. This position is for US-based candidates with the ability to make calls from your cell and have candidates leave voicemails or text you on your phone. We will provide an email from the company for this role. As a company that specializes in delivering top-tier professional services to large organizations, we are poised to ramp up our project staffing efforts in the near future. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying staffing needs, managing turnaround times, and driving our sourcing and recruiting initiatives. You will conduct initial candidate interviews, schedule and conduct client reference calls and track progress until we achieve successful staffing outcomes.
At Nimble, we champion flexible working hours and prioritize effective communication, creating an environment where collaboration thrives. Our vibrant, achievement-oriented culture fosters a sense of fulfillment as we assist clients in bringing elite professional consultants on a project basis.
We pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to our clients' business priorities, nurturing a supportive and non-competitive atmosphere that celebrates the successes of our team members. As our Recruiter, you will take on vital responsibilities, including leveraging our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to post jobs, review resumes, and engage with candidates and manage the overall recruiting and staffing process.
Given the CEO’s demanding schedule, we are seeking an individual who can work independently and draw upon their experience to ensure client success while meeting tight staffing deadlines. This role requires agility in managing interviews and client reference calls during peak periods and effectively addressing candidates’ concerns and questions throughout their journey. You will also need to keep pace with multiple candidates simultaneously and respond to urgent inquiries from the CEO or clients, ensuring the seamless progression of our staffing needs. Additionally, you'll coordinate with team members to schedule interviews with them when necessary. By joining Nimble Consulting, you will not only contribute to our growth and success but also become part of a collaborative and empowering environment. Seize this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our clients’ business objectives while thriving in a supportive and motivated team culture.
WHO I AM
I am a female entrepreneur with three decades of management consulting experience, originally from the East Coast. I take great pride in my Japanese heritage and possess bilingual abilities that facilitate effective bridging of both cultures in professional coaching and personal interactions. We are a team-based consulting delivery team, comprised of individuals, each with a minimum of ten years of experience in their respective areas of expertise, such as organizational change management and communications, virtual training and microlearning, classroom training, strategic planning, process improvement, and program management.
The majority of our clients are situated in the Bay Area or other locations on the West Coast; therefore, we operate on Pacific Time and prioritize local recruitment to align with our clients' geographic needs. This strategy supports hybrid environments for clients who favor them and aids in minimizing travel expenses.
I am truly dedicated to my clients' success. I believe in providing not just skilled professionals, but also individuals who demonstrate integrity, a strong work ethic, and pride in their work. The Nimble team is recognized for its ability to rapidly establish relationships and seamlessly integrate within our clients' organizations.
This ability allows us to reduce ramp-up time, adapt swiftly to each client’s unique way of working, and serve as advocates for those affected by major changes. Such changes may encompass reorganizations, compliance with new processes, or the implementation of new technology and devices as integral components of daily work. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we designed helpful tools and vehicles to convey the continually evolving compliance requirements at the county, state, and federal levels for the employees of our clients. Our success is gauged by the extent to which people comprehend what is changing, the rationale behind it, its implications for them, and the support they will receive throughout this process.
In summary, the consultants we seek to recruit are "people" people—collaborators, engaging presenters, strong writers, systems thinkers, and emotionally intelligent team players who excel in clearly communicating change both visually and verbally.
WHO YOU ARE
You are passionate about your work as a part-time remote recruiter and excited to represent a small business that is driving transformational change for large organizations. You are smart, efficient, dedicated, highly professional and eager to be part of a smaller company where your contributions can make a significant impact. As a highly independent and exceptionally organized individual, you excel at moving projects forward even when the CEO is occupied with calls throughout the day. You thrive in an environment that values autonomy and you do not require constant micromanagement.
In 6 months, you will measure your success in this role by having qualified candidates to reach out to when opportunities arise, and the CEO does not need to ask about the status of a particular candidate or staffing opportunity due to your ownership of the process and proactive communication. Clients’ staffing needs are met in a timely manner, avoiding unnecessary delays. Your forward-thinking mindset allows you to anticipate and meet each client's needs proactively. Potentially, if you are successful, and as client demand grows over time, this may become a solid 50% role or a full-time role.
You are tech-savvy and able to quickly learn any necessary systems. You have experience in reviewing resumes efficiently to prioritize candidates that should be further investigated through LinkedIn and other social media platforms for a comprehensive view of their qualifications and of who they are as a person outside of work. During interviews, your exceptional ability to extract information from candidates and your attentive listening skills help you identify potential red flags, exceptional talents, and even "unicorns" in the candidate pool. You value your time and others’ time. You trust your intuition and instincts while conducting thorough due diligence of the candidates in the funnel for consideration.
Through proactive communication, you ensure that the CEO has full visibility into each client's staffing needs, as well as each candidate's experience in our hiring and qualification process.
You are also skilled at following instructions when necessary, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability. The company already has established systems (ATS for hiring) and processes that you will need to familiarize yourself with quickly. However, your initiative, drive, and creativity will enhance our operations, allowing us to efficiently move through our end-to-end process without compromising the quality of candidates we are known for delivering to our clients.
The CEO can rest assured that clients are receiving ongoing support from you, alleviating any concerns about prolonged periods without direct contact with the CEO. Candidates will receive regular updates on the status of their applications until they are either moved into a qualified status or the process is terminated. Information about candidates will be diligently updated in our existing systems, and the CEO will have access to this information through dashboards and other tools without interrupting business operations.
Furthermore, you will play a key role in equipping new hires with essential knowledge during our onboarding process. Your pride in your work will drive you to identify ways to enhance the onboarding experience for new hires and further streamline the process. In summary, as an exceptional recruiter and team member, you will be crucial in optimizing operations, enhancing client satisfaction, and fostering a seamless workflow, ultimately contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.
