Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

About the role

Hiring a mid to senior/staff level full-stack engineer to join our team and focus on shipping products.

Things you'll be working on

Architecting and implementing full-stack product features in Typescript/React/Node is the core of what you’ll be doing. Real examples include —

• Build our AI tools for our end-customers to generate new Replo content.

• Build our analytics and experimentation products end-to-end.

• Build out well-abstracted 3rd-party integrations with platforms like Shopify.

• Build our payments/billing infrastructure to manage different customer use-cases.

• Own our multiplayer editor end-to-end, deep dive into CRDT, React-performance.

• Own our user onboarding flow from end-to-end.

Looking for someone who

• Can be hybrid in San Francisco.

• Is very proficient in Typescript/React/Node.

• Can leverage GPT/Claude/Cursor to accelerate their work.

• Has built products 0 -> 1 with real users and revenue.

• Is OK with not having product and design support all the time.

• Is ALWAYS SHIPPING. We don't spend weeks planning features at Replo.

• Has a product and customer-focused mindset.

• Has experience being burned by deployment and maintenance issues. If you have a a strong opinion on how products should be built, that’s good.

• Values writing clean, maintainable software, including documentation (e.g. the code needs to be correct and run fast, but we’re the ones that have to read it and understand it).

• Is comfortable with ambiguity and defining software architecture patterns to solve customer pain points.

Bonus points if you

• Have a Computer Science degree or formal computer science/STEM backend

• Have started a company before

• Enjoy attending hackathons

• Worked at an early-stage (Series A or earlier) startup previously

• Have not wasted hours interview-prepping on Leetcode

• Have an eye for visual design (or past experience in product design, Figma, etc).

The salary range offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
