Boot Barn is looking for a Store Support Merchandise Coordinator to join our Merchandise Planning team. The ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 years of experience and be able to enter orders in a timely fashion, working with the buyers, assistant buyers, and vendors to clearly place the orders. Assist the stores with their receiving issues and trouble shoot problems clearly and efficiently with the accounting department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Connected Retailer to enter purchase orders, add/modify style for accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with buyers in unit allocation and PO receiving dates to achieve maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures; follow company standards for service including measurable goals such as Purchase Order Log, Special Order Log and Problem PO Log.
  • Assist the stores with receiving issues, training them as needed on standards and procedures.
  • Facilitate inquiries in regards to pricing, product information, shipments, and orders.
  • Communicate with vendors regularly on PO flow and issues.
  • Assist the accounting department in troubleshooting invoicing errors.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing of orders, communication and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or as the business needs
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of work experience preferred.
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills.
  • Extremely well-organized and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative.
  • Experience meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.

PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $23.00/hr.*

  • compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
