A professional services company in East LA is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. In this role, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing staff, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, process improvements, special projects, and international consolidations. What do you need for this Accounting Manager role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8 years of accounting experience
• Must have experience with inventory accounting
• Should have experience working at a company with $100M in annual revenue or above
• Must have supervisory experience
• Active CPA a huge plus
• Public accounting experience would also allow you to lead the pact

What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?
• Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement cost control procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze and report on inventory trends, COGS, and gross margin variances.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to optimize inventory processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to improve performance and efficiency.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
