Job Description
Multicultural Learning Center is seeking a versatile Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer in ensuring the smooth and compliant operations of the school. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, helping where needed, and making a real impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Operations & Office Support
- Support financial processes such as processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, purchase requests, and maintaining records.
- Assist with vendor files including maintenance of contracts, certifications, and insurances.
- Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth school operations.
- Support records, reporting, and documentation for staff, students, and school leadership.
- Help coordinate meetings, events, and communications across the school.
- Monitor and track grant compliance requirements to ensure deadlines and tasks are completed.
Recruitment & Outreach
- Assist with student recruitment and enrollment efforts to help the school reach full capacity each year.
- Support outreach efforts using social media, email, and other communications channels.
- Help coordinate events and communications for prospective students and families.
General Administrative Support
- Assist with onboarding of staff, volunteers, or interns.
- Help maintain accurate records and track key operational data.
- Support staff, office teams and leadership across multiple areas, stepping in wherever assistance is needed.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Knowledge & Skills
Qualifications
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable assisting with a wide range of operational and administrative tasks.
- Proficient with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and social media platforms.
- Positive, collaborative, and ready to support staff, students, and leadership.
Other Requirements
- Must successfully pass a background check and TB clearance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
