Your New Role

As a Commercial Construction Estimator in Bonsall, California, you will:

• Lead estimating efforts for commercial construction projects including ground up builds, remodels, and tenant improvements

• Review and interpret complete construction plan sets including architectural, landscape, civil, structural, kitchen, and MEP drawings

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals

• Issue bid invitations and evaluate subcontractor proposals to build complete and accurate bid packages

• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation

• Utilize Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and Bluebeam for estimating and project coordination

• Develop and maintain construction schedules and provide weekly reporting

• Support field teams and attend jobsite meetings as needed

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Estimator in commercial construction

• Proven expertise in construction estimating, cost analysis, and project coordination

• Procore Certified or willing to obtain certification prior to starting

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Zoom

• Ability to work from the Bonsall, CA office daily and reside within 30 miles of the office

• Strong ability to read and interpret full construction drawing sets

• Skilled at managing multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Clear communication and collaboration skills

• Willingness to travel to local job sites for scheduled meetings
