Warehouse Associate - 1st shift
The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of warehouse duties such as receiving/ shipping/ distribution activities, order pulling/ kitting, and preventative maintenance of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Pick, pack, transfer goods & drive forklift
- Process and receive inbound shipments
- Operate forklift to load and unload materials
- Pull, bundle, and ensure properly packed materials for work order
- Verify Inbound & outbound orders for accuracy/completeness
- Maintain records of received and shipped products
- Maintain forklifts by completing preventive maintenance requirements & arranging for any needed repairs
- Follow safety rules when driving forklift
- Ensure good housekeeping and sanitation of the warehouse
- Verify & co-ordinates outbound shipments with Warehouse Manage
- Work hours are from 6:30am - 2:00pm
Qualifications :
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience. High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a warehouse work environment.
- Able to operate a forklift is a plus!
- Position requires occasional heavy lifting from 30 lbs. to 50 lbs.
