As a Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to a student in their home. You will be responsible for supporting the student with daily academic activities, offering encouragement, and delivering tailored instruction based on their individual learning needs.

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Berkeley, CA
• Comfortable working with a college student
• Comfortable with Introductory Statistics
• Pay range is $40 per hour (negotiable)
• Multiple tutoring sessions per week (flexible afternoons, evenings, or weekends)

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on statistics concepts and problem-solving.
• Adapt materials, examples, and teaching methods to match the student’s learning style and academic goals.
• Track and document the student’s progress, adjusting instruction as needed to reinforce understanding.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any questions.
• Create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages confidence and academic growth in chemistry.
