Automotive Accountant (AR)
Dealership: L0605 Southwest Finance Center Lithia & Driveway Southwest APC
The Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible for providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of payment and collection of customer accounts. The Accountant-Accounts Receivable will be required to perform job duties in a manner that ensures timely and accurate updating of customer information, following up on customer/store inquiries, reconciliation of customer accounts, managing AR aging, processing of the daily bank activity, and collections activities associated with delinquent accounts.
The Accountant- Accounts Receivable reports to the Accounting Manager.
Account Receivable Responsibility
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Maintain collection tracking system
- Proactively keep customer calls current to collect aging balances
- Follow established procedures for collection of accounts
- Process payments timely and accurately
- Reconcile AR schedules
- Provide store support as needed
- Review credit applications for new account set up
- Research and resolve account discrepancies
- Complete journal vouchers and submit for approval
- Respond to all customer inquiries within 1 business day
- Respond to all store requests within 2 hours
- Other duties as assigned

- Entry to mid-level office and computer skills
- High School Diploma (required)
- Auto Industry Experience (preferred)
- Retail Sales and/or Customer Service (preferred)
Lithia Hiring Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 18 years or older
- Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in state of residence
- A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
- Clear pre-employment drug screen
