Kings Card Club is looking for an Accountant to join our team!

SUMMARY

Responsible for handling the finances of the casino and well as paying bills, invoices, and scheduling payments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)

  • Paying all bills in a timely manner.
  • Prepares profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and others financial reports.
  • Documents financial transactions.
  • Regularly reviews and evaluates departmental performance, working with department heads 
  • Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Oversees and directs clerical staff, if any.
  • Analyses accounting data as to give the best financial options.

Requirements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises the clerical staff, if any. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

An A.A. degree in accounting or 2-4 years of experience in a similar field. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

City Permit is required.
