THERAPIST (LMFT/AMFT) Outpatient Psych program (PHP) Psychiatric Unit located at Corona Regional Rehabilitation Hospital at the Magnolia site in Corona, Ca.

This a Full-time position 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Reporting to the Program Manager, this position provides psychoeducation, psychotherapeutic groups, individual therapy and family therapy to individuals who are seriously mentally ill. Groups focus on symptom management and medication management, which assist patients to function at their highest potential within their community; avoiding re-hospitalization. Interns are required to be supervised until fully licensed per Medi-Care guidelines.

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. Qualifications

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with computer skills.
Knowledge of Patient Rights.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Specific education and/or experience working with geriatric and/or adult behavioral health patients.
Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in the field of Mental Health required.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling or a related field required
Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Associate Marriage Family Therapist license required. Full MFT licensure is required within 5 years of hire.
Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
