About You

You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable transactions including processing invoices, payments, credit cards, proper coding, and approvals. This position will support the month-end close process including account reconciliations. Success in this role means you are proactive, highly organized while being able to pivot yourself to meet the needs of the business.

What You Will Do

• Perform the full cycle purchase to pay process including approval, reconciliation, and documentation.


• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment


• Process invoices through the Company’s Mineral Tree and NetSuite accounting systems.


• Collaborate with other departments in handling payable requests and approvals


• Accrue various expenses at month’s end for items billed but not received


• Review incoming electronic mail from vendors


• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.


• Record and reconcile prepaid expenses and accruals at month’s end


• Support the month end close process with ad-hoc tasks as needed to meet the close timeline.

What You Will Bring

• Proven AP success and experience within a professional environment


• Well-versed in bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid functions


• Solid knowledge in general bookkeeping and accounting


• Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite is preferred


• Advanced Excel skills and ability to use complex functionality


• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite


• Excellent attention to detail

P ay Transparency

The targeted base compensation range is $30-$38 per hour plus an annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Our workplace is clean, orderly, appropriately lighted and ventilated with the proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered low and daily physical activities are considered light: office work, seldom lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking.
