Assistant General Manager
Lead daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and floor supervision
Own inventory management end to end: counts, par levels, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships
Build and document systems, checklists, and processes that make the shop run smoother every week
Support, coach, and communicate clearly with team members across front and back of house
Serve as a key communication link between staff, management, and guests
Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
High school diploma or equivalent
2–3 years of managerial experience, ideally in a restaurant or food service setting
Hands-on experience with inventory management and ordering
Availability to work 25–30 hours per week
A genuine love of structure. Someone who thrives on creating and improving systems, not just following them
Excellent communication skills, both with the team and with guests
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
Knowledge of Caribbean and/or South Indian cuisines
Experience with MarginEdge
