Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care with 45-minute appointments in an orthopedic outpatient hand therapy clinic setting
• Perform appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on each patient's diagnosis
• Develop, reassess, and revise treatment plans and goals every 12 visits or earlier based on patient progress
• Administer physical therapy techniques and modalities appropriate to the patient's diagnosis
• Document progress reports in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits and support insurance authorization and utilization review
• Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient teams, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of California
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred
• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Experience in hand therapy strongly desired
