ReStore Marketing Assistant Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona's ReStore Marketing Assistant Manager works closely with the Marketing & ReStore teams, with an emphasis on advertising, branding, event planning, and social media management. Under the guidance of ReStore leadership, the ReStore Marketing Assistant Manager creates, implements, and assesses Habitat ReStore's marketing plan including building and executing digital media strategies and campaigns with a goal of driving donations, sales, and volunteer recruitment for the Habitat ReStores. At times, the ReStore Marketing Assistant Manager also supports ReStore leadership with specific operational tasks and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate all ReStore marketing and advertising including print, electronic, and broadcast outlets - working in conjunction with a third-party marketing company.
- Management of ReStore social media platforms - presence, content, engagement, & advertising
- Responsible for creation and distribution of weekly ReStore e-newsletter.
- Manage & coordinate ReStore marketing events (trade shows, in-store promotions, community presentations) including creative development, design, set-up, coordinating volunteers, & budget oversight.
- Serve as liaison between Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Retail Store Operations, to assist in carrying out ReStore marketing objectives.
- Oversee ReStore in-store brand identifiers, including production of store signage and messaging.
- Manage special projects for Chief Retail Officer or Director of Retail Operations as needed.
KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS , ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products and Canva
- Proficiency with Word Press or similar CMS preferred.
- Proficient with Constant Contact or similar Email Marketing program
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Familiar with Google Grants
- Problem-solving track record & have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically A self-starter.
- Desire and Passion to work in the nonprofit sector with a faith-based organization.
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills including oral communication and written communications, conveying clear, concise information to others, using verbal or other appropriate communication techniques.
- The ability to work flexible work hours, including evening and weekend events as necessary.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:
- College degree in related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in one or more of the following fields: graphic design, website development, branding, marketing and social medial
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB:
- The ability to hear and speak to use telephone and communicate with people both in and out of the office.
- Manual dexterity for computer operation and office equipment uses.
- The ability to sit at desk for extended periods, as well as move around office area frequently throughout the day.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable transportation for visiting off-site locations.
- The ability to travel, including some overnight travel.
- Employee must be proficient in or able to use or learn to use office equipment such as computer, printer, phone, copiers, calculator, camera.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:
- Most duties are performed in an office or ReStore setting.
- Dress code is professional/casual and comfortable. No sandals or open toed shoes allowed.
