Caregiver - Great $21 - $24 Hour

BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is hiring caregivers to provide a higher quality of one-on-one, in-home care to elderly, disabled adults, and those in need in the community. If you answer "Yes" to the questions above, we would love to speak with you.

Flexible per diem schedule. Choose the shifts you want! Most days & shifts available.

Duties:

- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need

- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Transport clients to appointments, errands and other

- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary requirements as needed

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas

- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients

- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals

- Document tasks and create care notes for each visit

- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable, Insured Vehicle
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Registration or willing to register to be on the Home Care Aide Registry
• 1 year of previous professional experience as an in home Caregiver / Home Care Aide or similar (preferred)
