Lead Caregiver

Job Title: Lead Caregiver.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Caregiver to support daily care operations and provide guidance to caregiving staff. This role requires strong leadership, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to proactively address client needs while maintaining high standards of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience using healthcare software systems for accurate charting and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, clients, and leadership.
• Ability to pass background checks and required clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

Caregiving & Client Support:

• Provide direct, hands-on care to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living while ensuring client comfort and safety.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes promptly.

Leadership & Team Support:

• Serve as a lead resource for caregivers during assigned shift.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to caregiving staff.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new caregivers.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.

Documentation & Charting:

• Complete accurate, timely documentation using healthcare software.
• Ensure care notes, incident reports, and daily charts are properly completed.
• Support compliance with care plans and facility policies.

Problem Solving & Initiative:

• Proactively identify concerns related to client care or operations.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding issues and solutions.
