Staff Accountant - Agribusiness
Our client is a well-established CPA firm located in Orange County with a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries including but not limited to: Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction/Real Estate, Non-Profit.
Summary:
Looking for Staff Accountant individuals who are interested in long-range career growth and have the strategic ability to plan for their professional futures. The company offers a work environment that is stimulating, challenging, and fun; plus, you’ll get the chance to work with bright, highly motivated people.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with seniors, managers and/or partners on various projects
- Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
- Prepare financial statements with disclosures
- Prepare federal and state tax returns
- Develop self-learning and problem solving skills
- Involvement in marketing events/community service projects as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA candidate preferred
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational techniques
- Highly motivated
- Eager to learn
- Integrity and Confidentiality
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
