Pharmacy Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a busy community pharmacy in California. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, and licensed in the state of California.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Accurately enter and process prescription information.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
- Handle insurance claims and prior authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Manage inventory, stock medications, and ensure proper storage.
- Perform daily operational tasks to support pharmacy workflow.
Requirements:
- Active and Clear California Pharmacy Technician license (required).
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Customer service oriented.
