Mechanical Assembler, Senior

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, sheet metal enclosures, drawers, chassis, and racks
• Read and interpret assembly prints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform hand soldering, wire harnessing, cable harnessing, and wire wrapping
• Assemble and inspect circuit boards following IPC-610 standards
• Verify correct electronic component placement and polarity
• Perform routine go/no-go testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
• Set up and operate test equipment using hand tools and automated testing methods
• Document test results and maintain production and quality records
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rework assemblies as required
• Maintain compliance with ESD and manufacturing quality standards
• Use hand tools and testing equipment safely and effectively
• Communicate production issues and collaborate with team members to resolve problems
• Perform additional manufacturing and assembly tasks as assigned

Skills:

• Experience with IPC-610 standards and SMT circuit board assembly
• Strong knowledge of electronic component placement and polarity
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, soldering, wire harnessing, and cable assembly
• Familiarity with SMT manufacturing processes and ESD handling procedures
• Experience using hand tools, testing equipment, and inspection tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Siemens or ASM SMT machines, Ekra paste printers, and AOI systems is a plus
• Experience with IPC-610 standards and SMT circuit board assembly required
• Previous experience in mechanical or electronic manufacturing/assembly preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for communication

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
