Litigation Attorney (Lemon Law)

A reputable and growing California-based law firm in Downtown Los Angeles seeks a Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience, specifically in Lemon Law and high-volume civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure and federal litigation processes and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple active cases independently. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and is ready to make an impact within a supportive, tight-knit firm culture.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a full caseload of Lemon Law litigation matters in state and federal court from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, law and motion, and trial documents.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and party depositions.
• Appear for hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members.
• Maintain compliance with court rules and firm procedures for calendaring and filing deadlines.

Qualifications:

• · Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably with Lemon Law or consumer protection cases.
• In-depth knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently and independently.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience conducting trials or arbitration is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with case management software and legal tech tools.
